  • Nursery Trip to Marsh Farm

    Fri 15 Jun 2018
Nursery experienced their first school trip.  Lots of parents supported school and helped the children as they visited the animals at Marsh Farm.  The children enjoyed the journey as much as the animals! We hope you enjoy these pictures.
  • Year 2 Suntrap Trip

    Thu 14 Jun 2018
Year 2 visited Suntrap in Epping Forest as part of their habitat topic.  Everyone enjoyed touching and learning about different insects- some were very big!  Some children and the headteacher had to overcome their fears and were brave enough to even have a snake around their neck.
  • Bingo Night

    Fri 08 Jun 2018
Once again Mr Skittleman entertained the children and parents (and staff) with Bingo.  This was no ordinary bingo; there was singing, dancing, competitions and fun for everyone.  Thank you to everyone who came.
  • Solar Workshop

    Tue 05 Jun 2018

During the Solar Workshop we travelled through space like an astronaut! We saw so many amazing sights; we learned about the planets and their moons as part of our Journey. We found out many interesting facts about each planet in our solar system. This was the 'coolest thing ever' said Year One!

Next time we look up at the sky we will have a better understanding of our world and beyond.

  • Shakespeare Workshop

    Mon 04 Jun 2018
During the Shakespeare workshop, we heard the story of The Tempest. The Tempest opens in the midst of a storm, as a ship containing the king of Naples and his party struggles to stay afloat. On land, Prospero and his daughter, Miranda, watch the storm envelop the ship. Prospero has created the storm with magic, and he explains that his enemies are on board the ship. We loved finding out what happened to the enemies and Prospero!
We even got to act out being the characters in the play and played games that involved acting and using expression. We learned about the language that Shakespeare used 400 hundred years ago. It was so much fun; we can’t wait to learn about Shakespeare’s other plays!
