At St Joseph's Federation, we believe that a high quality PE education provides the foundations for children's physical development and well-being, enabling them to pursue happy, healthy and active lives.

Developing children's gross motor skills from the earliest opportunity supports their core strength, stability, balance, spatial awareness, co-ordination and agility.

The aim of our progressive PE curriculum is to ensure children gain a wide range of skills. Our curriculum planning follows the Get Set 4 PE scheme which provides the skills and knowledge to be built upon year on year and is tailored to meet the needs of our children.
